At SIAD, learning goes beyond classrooms. Our students step outdoors to observe, sketch, and understand real environments. They study light, structure, drapes, poses, textures, and movement—building sharper observation and stronger artistic skills.
Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Fine Arts students visit Delhi’s key locations such as Agrasen ki Baoli, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Lal Qila, Lodhi Garden, Dilli Haat, Humayun’s Tomb, and Safdarjung Tomb for hands-on sketching.
Students learn: • One-Point Perspective at Agrasen ki Baoli (depth, symmetry, vanishing points) • Two-Point Perspective at Humayun’s Tomb (angles, edges, spatial depth) • Live drapery, poses, shading, textures, and on-spot detailing
These outdoor sessions boost creativity, confidence, visual memory, and discipline. Students build real portfolios without relying on photos—gaining true artistic maturity and real-world exposure essential for design careers.
